You may have come across us under different names in the past. We started out in 1993 as a family business called Unipap. For a short time, we were part of a Belgian group under the name Van de Velde Packaging Unipap.
We are now back in Czech hands. We have returned to full independence under the name UNIPAP Packaging a.s. – with our own direction, Czech roots, unique technologies and ambitions for development and long-term growth.
Behind every box and every design is a real person. At our production and administrative centre in Býšť and our other branches, we form a team of more than 130 colleagues. We believe that a happy employee does the best work. We give space to individuality and foster a team spirit.
UNIPAP was founded in 1993 as a Czech family business. After several years as part of the Belgian group Van de Velde Packaging, we are now operating independently once again. The company is backed by a team with over 32 years’ experience in the industrial packaging sector.
We supply packaging solutions to manufacturing and industrial companies across a wide range of sectors — from the automotive and electrical engineering industries, through to engineering, e-commerce and the food industry. We work with both small businesses and large multinational companies. Our packaging is used all over the world – we design it to reliably protect our customers’ products, even during long journeys overseas.
Both. We manufacture standard cardboard packaging in accordance with FEFCO standards, but we also have our own design centre where we create packaging specifically tailored to the customer’s product. This includes testing in our laboratory.
Development and production take place in Býšť, near Hradec Králové. We operate logistics centres in Prague, Děčín, Plzeň, Znojmo and Ostrava. We offer Just-In-Time (JIT) deliveries, so we tailor delivery times to your production schedule.

The “Max for ECO” concept is an eco-friendly, single-use overseas packaging solution for the Prusa 3D printer. It is designed to be fully recyclable, with optimised weight and the use of corrugated cardboard and PE fasteners. Unipap enters the Packaging of the Year competition every year and has a long track record of winning numerous prestigious awards, including the WPO 2025 for this solution.
